Here’s a few West Coast Happenings coming your way! Elizabeth Yaba, host of Yaba TV & Radio Show and now author presents… “Kajeemah, Female Circumcision, My True Story”. The book tells her story about growing up in a village called Sukudu, located in a remote part of Sierra Leone, where female teenagers are circumcised at 15 years old (a tribal custom of cutting the female clitoris).
“Absence of the Clitoris dictates brutal honestly with your feelings. The coping mechanism I highlighted in my Book Kajeemah are some great ways for the Circumcised Women to have a joyful love life, which I discovered in trial and error, broken relationships etc. This is my way of giving back to that community, the educational awareness for the fresh teenage girls and even how to avoid being circumcised”. – Elizabeth Yaba
Yaba also gives details of her remarkable journey to America and her amazing story of her rise and fall as she continues on her spiritual life path. Her life changed when she met Civil Rights Activist James Meredith and his wife Judy, who sponsored Yaba to come to America.
