Sundance Film Festival Selects “A Boy. A Girl. A Dream” by Datari Turner

ICYMI… Congrats to Datari Turner who’s lastest film… A Boy. A Girl. A Dream. was selected by the 2018 Sundance Film Festival taking place in UTAH!

The film is directed by Qasim Basir and stars Omari Hardwick , Meagan Good , Jay Ellis  and Kenya Barris.  Possessing a keen eye for talent.. Turner gave actors  Ryan Destiny and Michael Rainey Jr their big screen debuts and he also cast rapper Common in his first lead film role (Luv).

 A Boy. A Girl. A Dream — The story is set on the night of the 2016 Presidential election, when “Cass” (Hardwick), an L.A. club promoter, takes a thrilling and emotional journey with “Free” (Good), a Midwestern visitor. She challenges him to revisit his broken dreams – while he pushes her to discover hers.

It also marks producer Datari Turner’s sixth film at Sundance.
