It was a joy to see Maynard H. Jackson III and his lovely wife at the 2018 Pan African Film Festival’s screening of their new documentary MAYNARD. The event was held on Saturday 10th at Cinemark Baldwin Hills Crenshaw 15 in LA where viewers got a real & powerful glimpse of Atlanta history.
I’ve been living in LA for 6 months now… seeing this power couple along with #Maynardmovie producer Jason Orr provided a touch of warm memories. Especially of Miss Bunnie Jackson Ransom… mother of Maynard III, public relations & marketing expert and author. I was a new blogger 2 years ago… Miss Bunnie provided the opportunity of a lifetime by appointing me the social media leader of the 2016 Trumpet Awards. How cool is that?!?! The family has always been very supportive of It’s RobinLori and we are forever grateful.
Naturally… I was thrilled to see them and snap a few pics for my Getty Images library. #History 🙂
