Café Mocha, the #1 nationally syndicated radio show for women of colorlaunched its annual Salute Her Awards series in 2011, with the goal of recognizing dynamic Black and Latino women, who have made contributions within their communities and breaking down barriers with their businesses.
In partnership with NCNW Atlanta, McDonalds, TOYOTA Green and ORS Haircare… Café Mocha, kicked off its “2016 Salute Her: Beauty of Diversity Awards” with activities including Loni Love’s Comedy Café Open Mic to celebrate the launch of “Mocha Cares Foundation”. The mission is to support housing and services to combat homelessness and domestic violence through mentorship programs.

The Mocha Cares Foundation mission is to be a resource to inspire, educate and elevate women and children who are in transition through using our radio platform to raise awareness and create mentorship programs for residents. To achieve this mission, MCF will employ its network of experts, celebrities and corporate friends to develop interactive in-shelter session
